God Will Provide a Lamb - Passion Play 2012

God Will Provide a Lamb was the title of this year's Passion Play. That name was taken from the title of the song sung by yours truly. It was written by Michael Card. It tells the story of Abraham and Issac. I didn't get to actually see the entire song acted out because I was busy singing it and because it was supposed to be there for the audience and not for me and my boys to actually see in the play.

Here are some pics (taken by Raeann Winn) of God Will Provide a Lamb. Abraham was played by Jimmy Bryant. Isaac was played by Brock Daniel. Micah (the dad) was played by Lyndel Littleton. His two sons were Benjamin and Daniel (they're real names as well as their stage names)

"Dad, tell us again about Abraham."
"God wanted to test Abraham to see if he loved God more than he loved the gift of his son, Isaac."

Totally awesome, Lyndell. Stirred my heart everytime I watched it from the back waiting for my time to take my part in the play. Praying that this years play will continue to bless hearts, minds, and souls.

How did you ever find such an old Abraham? He really looks a lot like the Jimmy Bryant that was in my Hilldale youth and music ministry in the 1960's! No way! He can't be that old! Hmmm, 47 years ago. Loved the photos. Wish I could have been there. Love that Jimmy Bryant!
