150 Days of Psalms - Psalm125

This Ascension Psalm is only five verses long, but there is a powerful message in it. I really like what verses 1 and 2 say,
Those who trust in the LORD Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever

Mountains give protection from enemies, bring water and crops, supply lumber and other needed items and more. So to say the Lord surrounds His people like the mountains surround Jerusalem is a great picture of all that God does for His people. Knowing that should make a difference in how you look at the world and in how you react to circumstances or troubles that may come your way.
