This Sunday, Feb. 12, at 4:00 in Youth building A we will have a meeting of the Joyful Hearts Clown Ministry. It's not too late to be a part of this ministry.
Our plan is to visit nursing homes, be involved in VBS or other children's activities, maybe be in a Clarksville parade (like the picture above from Martin, TN)... basically we'll just clown around at events where clowns are the perfect addition to an event. Sorta like confetti icing on a cupcake. The cupcake was probably going to be good, but it was fun and exciting as soon as you put the confetti icing on it!
This week we'll talk about then design then put on our clown faces. I'll have makeup. You'll need to bring an eyebrow pencil or eye liner (black), a mirror (one of those stand up on your counter types), and some baby wipes and cold cream or makeup remover. Of course you can wear your face home but then you'll need the baby wipes and cold cream at home.
Search around the Internet for some clown faces to get some ideas before you come.
Here are a couple of sites for professional clowns.
