The Proverbs Challenge - Day 17

I guess Proverbs 17:17 has been quoted thousands of times, it looks great on greeting cards and posters and everyone wishes for a true friend that "loves at all times."

The best way to have that kind of friend is to be that kind of friend. For a refresher course on what true love really is, read I Corinthians 13

Here's another verse from this chapter that I really like. First, let me say I am not elderly!

I do, however, totally relate to verse 6

Grandchildren are the crown of the elderly.

In case you've somehow missed seeing them, here are my grandbabies.

The Best Picture I Have Ever Seen

Well, at least it's the best picture I've seen in months and months - and still may be the best one ever.

I just don't really remember. Right now it is definitely my favorite.

Or was it this one?

If you don't know who these adorable children are then I'm sorry I haven't been with you enough

for you to know that they are my grandbabies!

What do pictures of my grandbabies have to do with my worship blog?

Hmmm, well, they definitely are one of God's wonderful blessings in my life.

It's my prayer that they each grow up to love the Lord with all their heart and serve Him

and do wonderful things for His Kingdom.

That they will live a life of worship.

Romans 12:1 NASB

 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

 

You probably want that for your grandchildren too.

I think the best way for that to happen is for them to see it IN YOU!

More Cute Kids with Bro. Lyndel

So why do I have so many pictures of me with the kids? 'Cause it's a lot of fun taking the pictures and it is  my blog after all. hahaha.

You may have noticed the beautiful baby boy I'm holding in the top left picture. That's my youngest grandbaby, Beau. And the picture right next to it is me and Gibson, my first grandbaby - although he would be quick to tell you that he is not a baby, he is in 2nd grade!

I'll have another post later today or tomorrow with lots of VBS pictures of people other than myself.
