Easter is coming!


January 9 will be our first rehearsal after "the Tree". Counting January 9, we will have 10 Wednesday rehearsals before our dress rehearsal on March 13. Oh my!
We'll have rehearsal CDs for you next week.

First Time in the Tree

It was fun tonight asking how many of you all were in the tree for the first time. Several raised their hands. It was also very interesting to see how many had sung in the tree all 22 years! Wow! Pretty cool!

So it's 10:45 and my lovely wife, Cheryl, and I just got home. But I promised you pictures , so here there are!

6:00ish - Greenery going up on the tree


Wednesday, Dec. 5

Decorating begins during the day

Stages built

5:30 - early orchestra rehearsal

6:15 - early choir rehearsal

6:30 - choir and orchestra rehearse in choir room

6:30 - children's choir rehearses on stage

8:00 - staging of "From the Cradle to the Cross" (just actors, no choir)

5:00 - staging of parade

6:00 - GET IN THE TREE! WOOHOO!

7:00 - children and youth choirs join adult choir in Worship Center

Decorating a Tree

We STILL have computer issues at church, so it could be a day or two before e-mail is going again.

Don't forget - like, how could you - that "THE Tree" shows up this week. Many of you signed up to help decorate. We can't send out a schedule or a reminder, so you'll just need to come whenever you think you remember the time or day you might have signed up to possibly help.

We'll be able to give you a schedule of sorts Wednesday night.

Sunday's Music (Dec.2)

Sunday's Choir Anthem is "The Glory of God". Oooo, I love this one. It just makes you smile! If you are singing in the tree then you should sing with us Sunday!

I'm going through e-mail withdrawal. We still can't access e-mail - coming or going! AAAAaaaaaaahhhh!!!!
